Atlas
Technologies, Inc., a Charleston, South Carolina based company, is a prominent
leader in the development and integration of Information Technology (IT)
systems. Brian M. Miller, the company's founder and President, established Atlas
Technologies, Inc. in 1997 after a successful two years of consulting for
Internet Service Providers, small to medium businesses and the Department of
Defense.
Since its inception, Atlas Technologies, Inc. has
provided on-site engineering, Research and Development (R&D) and software
development for complex networking systems utilizing the latest technology for
IP data transfer and management. Aside from its long-standing government
contracts, Atlas Technologies, Inc. has also provided small businesses with
Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and Client/Server Network
Operating Systems with an emphasis on Internet connectivity.
As Atlas Technologies, Inc. has continued to secure
government contracts and develop new software, the company has expanded, opening
new offices in Chesapeake, VA and San Diego, CA. The new offices, opened in
November of 1999 and October of 2003 respectively, has allowed Atlas to increase
its customer base and services provided. With the office's added manpower, Atlas
can offer its clients product life-cycle support; from development to installation
to training, Atlas will ensure that its clients receive quality products and
exemplary customer service every step of the way. The company has since
taken the lead in developing Integrated Network Management (INM) , an enterprise
monitoring suite via the INM application, utilizing Simple Network Management
Protocol (SNMP).
Atlas Technologies, Inc. now offers full outsource
network and system administration for clients. Currently the R&D department
is in pre-release of a new embedded system product line involving SNMP proxy
agents. As the company looks to the future, it intends to maintain its footing
in TCP/IP technologies, with additional software products
focused on Network Management.
