Technical Writer
We have an immediate opening in our Technical Writing department for a skilled Technical Writer to enhance our current technical team. This position will be responsible for preparing software requirement specifications, operations, maintenance and other technical publications; gathering information, preparing written text and coordinating layout and manual organization; researching available engineering/development information such as drawings, design reports, equipment and technical specifications.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a four-year degree (or equivalent) and three or more years of related experience. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite software applications. Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills. Candidates must be detail oriented, work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain US security clearance.
Administrative Assistant – San Diego, CA
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for formatting reports for optimum presentation and editing
documentation using appropriate software applications. Preparing, proofreading
and interpreting travel expense reports, activity budgets, charts, timesheets,
accounting records, graphs and reports computing ratios and calculating averages
when required. General clerical duties
including, but not limited to, distributing mail and paychecks, reproducing
documents, ordering supplies, establishing and maintaining files. Greets and
escorts all visitors as required, answers employee inquiries and all telephone
calls referring inquiries to the appropriate employee and/or department. Follows
administrative, confidential and sensitive data guidelines in maintaining the
security of company proprietary and Government classified information.
Contributes to continuous process improvement efforts as they relate to current
job assignment and other improvements throughout the company when identified. Other duties as assigned by
management.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts, practices
and techniques of administrative assistant duties. Must possess above average
mathematical skills as well as the capability to analyze information for
reporting purposes. Must possess well developed interpersonal, oral and written
communication skills as well as in-depth proficiency in the use of software
programs such as Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be detail-oriented with the
ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience preparing and analyzing basic financial reports is preferred.
Education/Specific Training and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of six months of administrative
experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Wireless Support Technician
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Support wireless network systems, devices and associated software
Research, track, resolve, report and manage Information Assurance (IA) vulnerabilities and threats
Develop and implement solutions for IA vulnerabilities and threats
Implementation of 3rd party hardware, software, systems and directives
Create documentation including Load Plans, Readme files, Test Plans, Test Reports, Mandatory Security Updates, and Fleet Advisory Messages
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced experience may be used in place of Education
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be able to obtain US Government security clearance to Secret level
Experience and skills:
3+ years relevant job experience in operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer and/or network systems
Intermediate technical writing ability
Fundamental knowledge of networking principles, concepts and practices
Knowledge of software and operating system support methodologies and practices.
Knowledge of IAV, CTO and DoD directives.
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to juggle differing tasks and goals with multiple deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preference given to:
CWNA or higher wireless certification,
MCDST or higher Microsoft certification,
Security+ or higher security certification

to be a member of our IT staff. The work will involve in-house scripting, web

years experience in programming with an Object Oriented language, preferably in
