Network Management requires an in-depth level of the network technologies, before effective management can be defined and implemented. Our experience with WAN and LAN technologies in a multi-vendor environment has lead to our exceptional implementations of network management. We have several members of the OpenView Forum International, formed by the largest licensees of Hewlett-Packard OpenView, to represent the interests of HP OpenView users and developers world-wide.



Internet Service Provider

     We have provided custom application programming and setup of several different products for this industry. The main focus is Internet and POP connectivity, as well as trending modem pool usage and service response time for HTTP, e-mail and other services. We also provided remote notification with an escalation schema to notify different levels of the staff depending on the type of outage is and how long it has been down.


Government

     The entire U.S. Navy fleet has benefited from the use of Network Management tools that Atlas Technologies, Inc. has developed. We have provided a basic Network Management toolkit by adding custom plug-ins to a commercially available product IPMonitor. This custom software development effort enabled non-network managers to deploy a solution that meets the needs of Fault Analysis and Performance Monitoring with trend data delivered through their Web browsers.


     Additionally we have spearheaded a longer-term effort in order to automate the entire shipboard network LAN and WAN connectivity with one group of Management Stations. This effort has required custom programming to automate the configuration of HP OpenView as well as other tools, to provide consistent, accurate monitoring of the network devices. This work is also being deployed on the shore stations and will eventually become one integrated structure of Network Managers, or Manager of Managers.


Commercial Products

     We have our own branded product line in pre-production at this time which not only provides information of various network devices, but also automates the deployment strategy of management of those devices. This effort will allow our engineers to roll out a wide spread implementation of Network Management using the logic and experience of Atlas Technologies, Inc.
