Remote automation is very important for distant sites with little or no IT staff to maintain them. Atlas Technologies, Inc. has vast experience with remote automation from simple serial control to network accessible Proxy Agents.


Government

     We have provided a Microsoft Service based software application to integrate a legacy product with only MIL-STD-1553 bus control to a SNMP Proxy Agent. This project is a typical example of our ability to reverse engineer electrical standards and proprietary protocols to bring remote automation to modern open standards.


Products

     We have designed a product line to take advantage of our in-depth SNMP Proxy Agent knowledge and our understanding of control protocols. Our first product in this series is AgentR and provides an SNMP interface to HF Radios made by Harris Corp. These agents are small set top units that have an Ethernet port and a serial management port. There are no operator controls necessary for this unit and they are designed for remote operations.
