Atlas Tech is proud to announce that we have been selected as one of the awardees for the Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) multiple‑award, indefinite‑delivery/indefinite‑quantity (IDIQ) contract. With a ceiling of $151 billion, SHIELD represents one of the most significant and forward‑leaning acquisition vehicles in the Department of Defense.
SHIELD is a cornerstone of the DoD’s broader effort to strengthen the nation’s layered missile defense architecture. This contract enables MDA and other DoD organizations to compete rapidly and award task orders under a single, flexible enterprise vehicle, accelerating the delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter.
The first phase of awards includes 1,014 qualifying offerors, selected from 2,463 proposals submitted through the System for Award Management (SAM). Work will be performed across the United States, with all options extending through December 2035.
