John Jones
Chief Executive Officer
John Jones has been a driving force at Atlas Tech for over 20 years, now serving as Chief Executive Officer. With a foundation in marine biology and computer science, John brings a unique blend of technical insight and strategic leadership to the role. His deep operational experience spans finance, corporate development, and enterprise-wide initiatives that have shaped Atlas Tech’s growth and culture.
Throughout his tenure, John has led transformative efforts, from launching the Atlas Operating System to championing long-term planning and cross-functional collaboration. His leadership is rooted in a passion for continuous improvement and a belief in the power of people working together to create meaningful impact.
John is also deeply committed to community service. As a founding member of Atlas Tech’s Charitable Giving Committee and a board member of the Special Olympics of South Carolina, he has helped establish programs that support youth education and local schools.
Under John’s guidance, Atlas Tech has achieved sustained, double-digit growth and built a culture defined by transparency, teamwork, and service. He leads with integrity, empathy, and a clear vision for the future, ensuring Atlas Tech continues to thrive while making a difference for its customers and communities. -
KC Wilberg
Chief Operating Officer
KC Wilberg brings over two decades of experience in federal government contracting, with deep expertise in operational strategy, enterprise IT leadership, and mission-critical services for the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. As Chief Operating Officer, KC leads efforts to optimize Atlas Tech’s operational efficiency, refine business strategy, and enhance mission delivery across its federal portfolio.
Known for driving enterprise transformation and building high-performing teams, KC has overseen complex defense IT programs and led initiatives that improve readiness, scalability, and long-term success. His leadership strengthens Atlas Tech’s ability to deliver agile, secure, and impactful solutions aligned with evolving national security needs.
Before joining Atlas Tech, KC held senior roles at Acuity, CACI International, and L3 Technologies, where he advanced financial strategy, workforce development, and operational excellence. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver, along with PMP and ITIL certifications, and executive education from Harvard Business School and UVA Darden.
Named 2024 Intelligence Executive of the Year, KC is a recognized thought leader in defense innovation, contributing to panels and publications on AI, open-source intelligence, and enterprise data strategies. His mission-driven approach reinforces Atlas Tech’s commitment to excellence and innovation in federal contracting.

John Mentzer
Chief Information Officer
John Mentzer has been a driving force at Atlas Tech since 1998, when he joined as the company’s first technician. With a career rooted in service, innovation, and growth, John has played a pivotal role in shaping Atlas Tech’s infrastructure, operations, and technology strategy from the ground up.
As Chief Information Officer, John oversees Atlas Tech’s physical and network infrastructure, guiding enterprise-wide technology initiatives that ensure system resilience, threat management, and compliance with Department of Defense requirements. His leadership blends deep technical expertise with a strategic vision for scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
John’s journey includes opening Atlas Tech’s first Virginia office in Chesapeake, expanding operations to San Diego, serving as the company’s first Business Development Manager, and leading infrastructure as Director. His experience spans facility management, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT, making him a trusted steward of Atlas Tech’s digital backbone.
A U.S. Navy veteran and former electronics technician, John brings firsthand insight into the evolving threats and opportunities facing defense technology. His legacy of leadership and commitment to mission success continues to elevate Atlas Tech’s capabilities and impact across the federal landscape.

Gary Jaffe
Chief Growth Officer
Gary Jaffe brings a mission-first mindset and strategic acumen to his role as Chief Growth Officer at Atlas Tech. A U.S. Air Force veteran and former deployed warfighter in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Gary combines firsthand military experience with over a decade of leadership in defense contracting. His unique perspective fuels Atlas Tech’s growth strategy, ensuring every solution empowers those who serve.
Since joining Atlas Tech in 2014, Gary has led strategic planning, capture management, and business development with distinction. His leadership is defined by purpose, forging partnerships and frameworks that deliver robust, mission-ready solutions. He believes deeply in people-first growth, prioritizing Team Members, warfighters, and communities alike.
Gary earned both his B.S. in Business Administration and MBA from The Citadel and has served in key regional leadership roles, including President of the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (2022–2024) and board member (2019–2024). He also contributes to the Charleston Metro Chamber’s Business Advocacy and Military Advisory Committees.Named to Charleston’s Forty Under 40 in 2020, Gary continues to champion values-driven innovation and impact. His leadership propels Atlas Tech forward, expanding its reach while staying rooted in service, resilience, and mission success.

Lynne Gummo
Chief Finance and Administrative Office
Lynne Gummo serves as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at Atlas Technologies, bringing over 30 years of financial and strategic leadership to the role. Her career has been defined by driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening governance for government contractors across the mid-market.
Lynne oversees Atlas’s finance, HR, IT, contracts, and compliance functions, applying deep expertise in M&A, ESOPs, FAR, and CAS regulations, pricing strategy, and indirect rate consulting. She has led transformative initiatives, from implementing cloud-based systems and retention programs to negotiating multimillion-dollar contract settlements and guiding successful acquisitions.
Before Atlas, Lynne held senior roles at Triumph Enterprises, CohnReznick, SC&H Group, and RSM McGladrey, where she built high-performing teams and launched industry-first benchmarking tools. She is also the founder of LHG Advisory, a consultancy focused on empowering executives through financial insight and strategic planning.
Lynne earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with distinction from Pennsylvania State University and completed executive coursework at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. A frequent speaker on financial strategy and leadership, she is known for her clarity, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
